Gail Stern co-heads Beanstalk's Account Management
group. In this role, Gail is responsible for the development of
the brand’s strategic licensing plan, and manages relationships
with clients and licensees. While at Beanstalk, she has led groundbreaking
licensing programs for clients such as Harley-Davidson, Ford Motor
Company, The Stanley Works, AT&T, and The Andy Warhol Foundation,
among others.
Working as her clients’ “brand champion,”
Gail ensures brand strategy alignment and creation of superior
brand licensed product. Her stellar work for Ford, AT&T, and
The Andy Warhol Foundation resulted in two LIMA Award wins in
2006 and one in 2004, as well as numerous nominations for those
and other clients over the years. A seasoned licensing professional,
Gail has developed licensing programs from inception, and for
more mature programs, she has crafted strategies for sustained
growth.
Gail spent a decade in entertainment licensing with
Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop. As vice president of Soft Goods
Licensing at Nickelodeon, she managed $500 million in retail sales
and created a LIMA-award-winning retail program for Blue’s
Clues. At Sesame Workshop, she was part of the team responsible
for the development of Sesame retail stores and Sesame Place theme
parks. Gail has also worked with industry leaders Russ Togs, Campbell’s
Soup Company, and Macy’s, where she developed an understanding
of the interplay between manufacturing, marketing, and retailing.
Gail earned her MBA in marketing from Columbia Business
School.
