Vice President, Brand Development
Steve manages Beanstalk’s European business,
overseeing the Brand Strategy and New Business teams in the London
office. In addition he leads the global account teams for Vespa
and Pelé.
A seasoned industry veteran, Steve has over 15 years
of licensing and merchandising experience. Steve joined Beanstalk
in 2007 from Universal Studios’ Consumer Products Group
where he was Vice President of Europe, overseeing all Universal’s
licensing, retail and promotions activities, including those associated
with the acclaimed Peter Jackson film “King Kong”
and the preschool series “Curious George”. Prior to
Universal, Steve was Managing Director of Copyright Promotions’
U.K. office, developing consumer products and retail programs
for a wide range of properties, including the event movies Spiderman
1 and 2, “Shrek 2”, and the highly successful “Mr.
Men”.
Steve also ran the consumer products division at
BSkyB, and opened 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising’s
first international office. He developed the European licensing
and retail programs for “The Simpsons”, “X-
Files” and “Titanic”.
