The Beanstalk Group Achieves Stellar Results for Clients? Licensing Programs in 2006

NEW YORK, April 12, 2006 — The Beanstalk Group, the world's leading brand licensing agency, and part of Omnicom Group?s Diversified Agency Services, experienced significant growth in the first half of this year through aggressive brand expansions and successful program launches on behalf of its clients.

Danskin Now continues to achieve great success with its retail-exclusive licensing program at Wal-Mart. In 2006, Danskin Now launched a ladies athletic shoe program and expanded into the ladies daywear category. The brand has received accolades from both industry publications and retail analysts for its trend-right, quality products and for drawing consumers to Wal-Mart.

The mary-kateandashley brand is launching a comprehensive fashion accessories and health and beauty program at Claire's in the U.S. and Europe. Beginning in July 2006, Claire's will offer mary-kateandashley jewelry, hair accessories, hats, handbags, belts, cold weather accessories, sunglasses, cosmetic bags and electronic accessories. In addition, the mary-kateandashley brand re-launched in Australia in February at Big W, one of Australia's largest retailers.

Beanstalk brought together the Andy Warhol Foundation and Levi Strauss & Co. to create ?Warhol Factory X Levi?s,? a super-premium collection of jeans, tops, sweaters and jackets for men and women. The new collection debuted earlier this year at high-end retailers in the United States and Canada.

Beanstalk also further developed licensing programs for clients Harley-Davidson, the U.S. Army, and Wacky Packages. Beanstalk UK will assist Harley-Davidson in expanding its Youth Initiative licensing program into Europe, featuring products of interest to the riders of tomorrow. The U.S. Army licensing program leverages American pride, with a successful line of t-shirts, and bedding that launches in August 2006. The Stanley Works expanded its soft goods program with branded work wear, children?s apparel and work watches. Wacky Packages licensed products give kids of all ages other ways to enjoy the Wacky way-of-life. These satirical spoofs can now be found on skateboards, t-shirts, backpacks, loungewear, and sleepwear, and will have a major presence for back-to-school.

Beanstalk is actively expanding the licensing programs for new Colgate-Palmolive clients, AJAX and Irish Spring. AJAX will leverage its efficacy to provide cleaning solutions for every room in the home, as well as outdoor and industrial cleaning. Irish Spring will translate its popularity as a leading bar soap into a line of men?s health and beauty aid products.
