Josephine Law, Director of Brand Development, Asia, Selected as One of the“100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs of China”
February 8, 2010, New York, NY., — The Beanstalk Group, the world’s leading brand licensing agency and consultancy, is delighted to announce that Josephine Law, Director of Brand Development, Asia has been named one of the “100 Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs of China” for 2009. Law was selected for this honor by The Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of China for her outstanding performance and remarkable contributions to the licensing industry.
The official award was presented to Law and the other recognized women entrepreneurs of China, at a ceremony held on January 17, 2010 at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing.

Law joined The Beanstalk Group in February 2009 with the opening of Beanstalk’s Hong Kong office. With two decades of licensing, manufacturing, product development and marketing experience and extensive knowledge of the Asian market, Law is responsible for developing and growing the licensing programs for current Beanstalk clients throughout Asia, as well as prospecting for new clients and business opportunities in this emerging retail landscape. Prior to joining Beanstalk, Law was Global Licensing Director for Byford International Ltd., a British men’s underwear and hosiery brand. Law’s career accomplishments and biography have been compiled in a book entitled, “The 100 Outstanding Chinese Women Who’s Who 2009,” which will be distributed by The Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of China to Chinese Party leaders and government agencies. The books will also be sold through New China Book Store nationwide.
The Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of China was established in 1985 under the China Enterprise Confederation (CEC). The association, the only official organization in China set up to provide services for women entrepreneurs, serves as an important platform for business women to communicate with the government of China. It also assists Chinese organizations to expand globally.
