October 3, 2016, New York, NY., – The Farrah Fawcett Foundation has signed an exclusive representation agreement with Beanstalk, a global licensing agency headquartered in New York. Farrah Fawcett is among the most iconic television stars in history. A four-time Emmy Award nominee and six-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Fawcett enjoyed a four-decade career that began in commercials and came to include episodic television, feature films and stage work.
Just as she was cast as one of the original Charlie’s Angels, an idea was pitched to Farrah’s agent for her to do a poster and a shoot was arranged. Charlie’s Angels was a huge hit and the pin-up became the #1 selling poster of all time, selling more than 15 million copies. The convergence of those two events made Farrah Fawcett a superstar. Today, the iconic red bathing suit is part of the Smithsonian Museum as a cultural touchstone that defined an era.
