The Role
The Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, as part of the Brand Development team, with responsibility for day-to-day tasks relating to client (Brand owner) and Licensee (Manufacturer) management.  As you progress within the team, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing licensees for a global brand portfolio. This role will involve travel from time to time within the UK and Europe.

  • Assist day-to-day management of UK & international licensees including participation in client/licensee calls and meetings
  • Own coordination and tracking of all licensee product development and approvals
  • Manage development of sales materials
  • Complete tracking, monitoring and analysis of royalty reports
  • Support internal quarterly budgeting and forecasting
  • Research product markets, industries, categories and trends
  • Identify and source prospective new licensees, including attendance at key tradeshows
  • Assist in negotiating new license agreements and managing contract process flow

What You Need

  • Fluency in English; Additional languages desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • A University Degree

The Role
Support Business Development and Marketing/Public Relations efforts for growing client portfolio and agency exposure, team organisation efforts, and contribute to projects within the company’s Blueprint consulting division.

Marketing and PR:

  • Makes recommendations on and implements a strategic Marketing/PR plan for Beanstalk UK in close collaboration with the London management team as well as with the agency's U.S. office
  • Proactively develops and executes strategy for agency’s social media channels
  • Drafts press releases and news updates for the agency and its clients and pitches additional media opportunities
  • Researches ideas for, and drafts, innovative thought-leadership content and blog posts
  • Liaises with relevant internal and external parties for approval of PR and marketing materials
  • Assists with all Marketing and PR related projects, including but not limited to Licensing Awards nominations, trade show seminars, capabilities decks and case studies
  • Assists with the planning and organisation of the Brand Licensing Europe trade fair while coordinating and executing Marketing/PR efforts around the show
  • Monitors and maintains Beanstalk's subscriptions to publications and online resources and submits Beanstalk listings to be included in industry directories
  • Proactively updates the contacts data base

Business Development and Blueprint (Beanstalk’s Consulting Division):

  • Supports the solicitation and acquisition of new clients for Beanstalk and Blueprint
  • Research and identify potential new clients, categories and trends
  • Prepares and participates in brainstorming efforts for new and potential clients
  • Participates in the preparation of documents for new client outreach and pitches, including capabilities decks, case studies, thought starters etc.
  • Attends pitch meetings as appropriate and prepares and distributes Meeting Reports
  • Monitors and updates the Global Business Development status reports and actively participates in the Global Business Development calls across offices
  • Undertakes research for projects which may include trends, category landscaping and potential partner identification
  • Liaises with external partner agencies for the planning and execution of quantitative consumer research projects, drafting questionnaires and assisting in the analysis of results

Administrative

  • Proactively keeps documents and templates up-to-date and organises and maintains filing system on the shared drive
  • Supports the department VP by accurately completing expense reports, booking meeting rooms, travel & accommodations, answering external phone calls, managing printing needs and taking accurate meeting notes
  • Prepares and distributes group mailings and distributions on an as needed basis
  • Maintains department budget and handles invoices and P.O. submissions

Senior Graphic Designer / Freelance / New York

ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for a talented designer with an edgy and over-the-top aesthetic who can deliver the next level creative concepts demonstrating a masterful command of Illustrator, Photoshop and proven skill in branding industry (preferably fashion, home décor and beauty).

To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of graphic design, typography and layout. You should also have experience executing branding campaigns from conception to production, including designing branded assets (patterns, icons, type lock-ups), mock-ups, hang tags and packaging.

This position demands a high level of responsibility to execute and deliver consistently on target, and on time in a fast-paced environment. Reports to Creative Director.

START: immediately

DURATION: end of March

COMPENSATION: hourly (depending on the experience)

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in graphic design, B.A. in Graphic Design
  • Expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (excellent command of Illustrator and Photoshop is a must)
  • Packaging and product concept design
  • A strong balance of branding typography and layout
  • Ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure environment
  • Follow-through on design feedback with precision and finesse is essential
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to changes in priority.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong command of branding and conceptual thinking.
