Internship 2017 (Paid Role)

Title: Intern

Reports: Brand Development Team

Duration: 3 months 

Office: London, SE1 0SW


The Role

The goal of this internship will be to gain extensive knowledge of the licensing industry, through one-on-one mentoring from Brand Managers and hands-on experience with client accounts.

Duties will include but not limited to product category research and analysis, consumer analysis, competitive reviews, retail landscaping and opportunities to participate in client meetings. Responsibilities will include the research of branding and licensing trends, growth and demographic trends, purchasing dynamics, retail needs, and trademarks among other areas. 


The candidate needs to have a strong strategic focus, excellent communication and a can do attitude. University graduate or current student preferred. Previous experience in a marketing or branding related role is advantageous but not essential.

Coordinator, Brand Development

London Office  

Beanstalk seeks a Coordinator, Brand Development to join their team in London.  The role will involve day-to-day tasks relating to client and licensee management. The Coordinator will manage all administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of their brand team. The role would suit a recent graduate or someone with some licensing experience looking for an entry level position to gain invaluable experience in a busy and varied role, particularly suiting those interested in gaming and DIY brands. As the individual develops, the Coordinator will be given responsibility for generating new business and managing licensees across a client and category portfolio.

The successful candidate must have strong communication, writing, and organizational skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with a great ‘can-do’ attitude. The role would suit those who are detail-oriented, a self-starter with strong inter-personal skills and the ability to multi-task.

Manager, Brand Management

New York Office

Beanstalk seeks a Manager to support our licensing programs.  The position is responsible for participating in the development and execution of strategic licensing programs for a variety of clients.  Responsibilities include researching various product categories, develop and pitch prospects, negotiate deal terms through contract execution, financial reporting of overall program results, and working closely with licensees to oversee product development and approvals.

The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to–day tasks required to meet and exceed the client’s goals and objectives.  This involves working with high-level executives at Fortune 500 companies necessitating a professional demeanor, superior listening and relationship building skills. 

Beanstalk is seeking a candidate that has a background in licensing, marketing, retail planning, advertising, brand strategy, sales or consulting. 

This position requires a B.A. with 5+ years’ experience with emphasis on brand management, marketing products directly to consumers.
