The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. utilizes licensing as a means for upholding the legacy of Andy Warhol and as a means to introduce Andy Warhol to an ever-widening audience through quality products that embrace the artist’s sophisticated sense of design, forward thinking concepts, and ability to see the familiar from an unexpected perspective. Revenues from licensing agreements add significantly to those earned through other means, enabling the foundation to build an endowment which now exceeds $240 million and from which it will make cash grants in excess of $11 million this year.
