TGI Fridays® and Iceland Extend Partnership

September 2, 2021– Building off the success of their initial launch, TGI Fridays®, America’s most iconic bar and grill, is expanding its frozen appetizer and dessert offerings in the aisles of the UK’s leading frozen food retailer, Iceland, with a range of sharing pizzas and a S’Mores Dessert. With around 900 stores, Iceland is the perfect retail partner for TGI Fridays to deliver high quality products to the UK consumer. Beanstalk, TGI Fridays long-standing brand extension licensing agency, brokered this partnership with Iceland.

Inspired by the brand’s Americana feel and indulgent food offer, the new products appeal to both existing and new customers of TGI Fridays. The initial launch in September 2020 consisting of frozen food appetizers and desserts, including Boneless Chicken Wings and a New York Cheesecake, was hugely successful with sales continuing to far exceed expectations. The new 2021 launch will bring exciting TGI Fridays frozen food products to Iceland customers and continue to drive footfall to both the Iceland stores and TGI Fridays restaurants.

Loaded with delicious toppings, the pizzas are inspired by the indulgence of TGI Fridays restaurants and are perfect for sharing with family and friends. The new range of frozen pizzas includes Cheese Feast, Spicy Chicken, BBQ Meat Feast and Triple Pepperoni. Additionally, there will be the launch of a S’Mores Dessert to accompany the current range of signature TGI Fridays desserts. The S’Mores Dessert is an extremely delicious chocolate and marshmallow dessert that is new to the UK market.

The TGI Fridays licensing program has achieved tremendous success in the UK over the past year and continues to grow with the introduction of this latest TGI Fridays licensed product range to bring consumer’s that “Friday Feeling” every day of the week.
